Why do I need a DEC?
To raise awareness amongst the public of the energy used by the buildings they visit.

Display Energy Certificates are a legal requirement in specified public buildings.
A £500 fine can be given for failure to display a DEC in a prominent place.
Not having a valid Advisory Report can result in a fine of up to £1000.
